Parsloe jails "pigman" Cyril knowing he is the only person who can prepare the Empress for the race. Freddie has money riding on the Empress's victory and is anxious to to help.

Baxter is tasked with organizing Clarence but his aloof manner quickly offends everyone. Freddie tries to impress new girlfriend but that turns into a disaster.
