By purchasing or using a gift certificate, gift card, or electronic gift code (“Gift Code”) issued by BritBox, LLC and its affiliate and subsidiary companies (“BritBox”), you agree to these terms and conditions (“Gift Code Terms”).
Gift Codes are redeemable for eligible purchases only on the BritBox streaming service (“Services”). If BritBox makes available more than one annual subscription product, Gift Codes will only be redeemable against the BritBox annual subscription with the lowest standard retail price, unless otherwise advertised by BritBox. To redeem a Gift Code, the recipient must create or have an existing and valid account to access our Services. If the recipient does not have an existing and valid account, they must create an account in order to redeem the Gift Code. Gift Codes cannot be redeemed via Amazon Prime, Apple TV, or any other third party. You can find out more about how Gift Codes can be redeemed here.
The Gift Code will be sent to the recipient at the contact information provided, and the purchaser represents and warrants that such contact information is accurate and up to date and the provision of that information to BritBox does not infringe any third party rights. The recipient may be required to provide some additional personal data to BritBox when they activate the Gift Code and subscribe to the Service, which may include their payment details and billing address, to ensure that annual recurring subscriptions can continue following the end of the gifted subscription period (if applicable).
Each Gift Code can only be gifted and redeemed once. Gift Codes are not refundable (whether for cash or otherwise) and cannot be redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by applicable law. Gift Codes cannot be used to purchase other Gift Codes, and cannot be reloaded, resold, or transferred for value. For combinations with other offers, restrictions may apply. Gift Codes do not expire and are not subject to any transaction or dormancy fees.
We reserve the right to cancel a Gift Code if we suspect that it has been obtained or used unlawfully, fraudulently or otherwise in violation of these Gift Code Terms or the BritBox Terms of Conditions.
Title to the Gift Codes and the risk of loss, destruction or deterioration pass to the purchaser upon purchase. BritBox is not responsible for any Gift Codes that are lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CODE.
Gift Codes may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities without BritBox’s prior written approval. Use of BritBox’s name, logo, trade dress or trademarks in connection with the purchase or use of the Gift Codes is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the use of Gift Codes in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product or service is endorsed or sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, BritBox is prohibited without BritBox’s prior written approval.
Gift Codes are issued by BritBox, LLC. The laws of the State of California, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Gift Code Terms. These Gift Code Terms supplement and are part of the BritBox Terms and Conditions, which apply to any use of the Services.
If there is a conflict between these Gift Code Terms and the BritBox Terms and Conditions, these Gift Code Terms will control only to the extent of the conflict. If any provision or part of a provision of these Gift Code Terms is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Gift Code Terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
BritBox may modify these Gift Code Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by sending an email notification, providing notice through our Services, or posting the amended Gift Code Terms to our Services and updating the “Last Updated” date above. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, the amended Terms will be effective immediately and will apply to any use or purchase of Gift Code on or after the Last Updated date.
