The Red Dwarf enters a Black Holes minefield, forcing the crew to abandon ship. Lister and Rimmer end up on an arctic moon with nothing but a pot noodle and a tin of dog food.

A genetic mutant that sucks out human emotion becomes loose aboard the Red Dwarf and subjects Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten to 24 hours of non-stop, gruesome horror.

Lister accidentally activates the self-destructs and the only way to diffuse it is if he lends his body to a female officer.

Kryten discovers a mutated developing fluid which prints photographs the crew can walk into and change their pasts.

Kryten discovers he will expire in 24 hours and be replaced by Huzden 10. The crew decides to give him the best last night to remember.
